From January 2021 through June 2022, I wrote weekly email newsletters on behalf of a respected digital marketing and design agency, covering 4-6 trending developments ranging from token-gated retail events and the rise (and fall) of NFTs, to the philosophy behind photodumps, the emergence of Discord communities, and much more.

  • Kettle, a digital marketing agency, who included Apple, Nike, and many others among its clients.

  • Represent thought leadership in social media and the emerging web 3.0 landscape to prospective and current Kettle clients, with a special emphasis on sharing learnings with Apple’s marketing and communications team.

  • Identify and succinctly summarize four to six articles covering emerging trends in the social media, digital media, and Web3 landscape each week, streamlining access to information and presenting actionable takeaways to a roster of clients including Apple, Nike, and Walmart.

  • I produced 10+ emails a quarter for six consecutive quarters, with the series drawing praise from both internal and external stakeholders. At the conclusion of the engagement, I provided Kettle with a best practices/onboarding document for writers who’d be preparing future newsletters as well.
