Apple Podcasts for Creators

In conjunction with UX experts and visual creatives, I led the copywriting aspect of a complete reorganization and refresh of podcasters.apple.com. Across the high level, high visibility pages of this subdomain, I wrote informative, enticing, descriptions of new features meant to appeal to both amateur and professional podcasters, adapting Apple’s well-honed voice to communicate with a specific, sophisticated audience.

  • Apple’s “Podcasts for Creators” hub, which serves as a source for assets and inspiration podcasters can utilize whether they’re about to hit record for the first time or they’re climbing the charts.

  • The Kettle team I worked with, which included visual creatives and UX designers, were tasked with overhauling high-level pages of podcasters.apple.com. Specifically, this revamped subdomain needed to explain the brand’s recently-introduced subscription model, showcase promotional tools, and highlight the insights available from a series of Creator Conversations.

  • I revised and/or wrote net-new copy across the Manage, Market, Measure, and Community pages, from headlines to hyperlinks. I adapted Apple’s brand voice to communicate effectively and authentically with a highly specific and highly engaged subset of their audience. Additionally, I wrote 200+ word intros for Creator Conversations pieces, as well as editing and condensing interviews with leading podcasters and celebrities like Roxane Gay.

  • Successful reorganization and expansion of the Apple Podcasts for Creators microsite, empowering podcasters to better understand how they can monetize their offering.
